Dormouse Ecology & Conservation
This one day course is recognised as the definitive course on dormouse ecology, survey and monitoring. Ideal for those with a general interest or working towards their Dormouse Handling Licence. The course includes a visit to check nest boxes, information on relevant legislation and may include the opportunity to handle dormice under supervision with guidance on best practice.
Please note, although trainers can’t give participants a reference for a licence on the day, they may be able to sign some sections of their dormouse training log, depending on competency demonstrated on the day. A CPD certificate will be sent after the course.
This course involves field work which requires participants to have a reasonable level of fitness
