National Mammal Week is here!

21st October 2017

National Mammal Week is organised by the Mammal Society as a celebration and awareness week of mammals and their conservation in the UK.

This year’s dates are the 21st-29th October.

So what happens during National Mammal Week?

You can check out our diary for  mammal themed events to attend around the country, take part in our 2017 Hedgehog Watch Project, and enter a photo in our 2018 Mammal Photographer of the Year

Furthermore, look out for our brand new hedgehog design and get free postage for our clothing range and save 10% on all Mammal Society books with NHBS. Autumn Watch returns to our screen this Monday evening at 8pm on BB2 with lot of stunning mammal footage as they prepare for winter.

Don’t forget to keep up with #MammalWeek news by following @Mammal_Society on twitter.

Finally, make sure you submit mammal records wherever you are this #MammalWeek by downloading our free app Mammal Tracker or via your local record centre. We’d like to make this the biggest week ever for mammal records in the UK.
