Local Mammal Groups

Local mammal groups bring together people with a shared enthusiasm to see and study their local mammal populations, share knowledge and raise awareness. Local groups survey and monitor local mammals, provide local expertise and training in field skills, hold talks and events, and support and the work of The Mammal Society.

Search for a mammal group near you:

ENGLAND South East, South West, Central, Midlands, East of England, North west, North east, WALES, SCOTLAND, Northern Ireland

Can't find a group near you? Set one up! All you need is enthusiasm and time. See our Guidance for Setting Up a Local Mammal Group, or email Derek Crawley, our Local Groups Officer for advice.

Join The Mammal Society national local group network to promote your activities, share information, nationally represent the mammals on your local patch, and encourage more supporters and volunteers.
