Regional Organisers are a new venture for the Mammal Society. We are currently working to cover all regions of the United Kingdom, with an organiser based in the Republic of Ireland too.

Regional Organisers will help us build a stong network of mammal enthusiasts across the regions, be they Mammal Society members or not. We aim to establish efficient means of communication, build relationships and involve as many people as possible in mammal surveys and conservation.

We are currently still developing our RO Network, and we don't yet cover the whole country. So, in the meantime, contact your County Mammal Recorder or Local Mammal Group to find out what's happening in your area.

Our regions are:

SOUTH EAST (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Oxfordshire and Surrey)

SOUTH WEST (Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire)

EAST MIDLANDS (Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland)

WEST MIDLANDS (Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands and Worcestershire)

EAST OF ENGLAND (Bedfordshire, Cambridgshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk)
