The Mammal Society 6th Student Conference

The 6th Mammal society student conference provides a fantastic opportunity for students at all stages of study with an interest in mammals to meet in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The student conference is run by students for students with an exciting range of talks and posters on display. It provides an excellent opportunity to showcase your research among peers, talk to mammal experts and to make connections which might help you in your future career.
The meeting also offers the opportunity to gain new knowledge and experiences or brush up on your existing mammal surveying skills. This year’s Mammal Society student conference promises to be an event not to be missed!

Join Northumbria Mammal Group for what promises to be a fun and interesting day of small mammal trapping, badger surveying, deer tracking, and much more. Call for papers:
This is the first call for papers or posters for the 2017 student conference. We encourage students of all levels to submit their work for oral or poster presentations. Presentations do not have to be based on UK mammals; we would love to hear from as wide a range of speakers as possible. Please share your experiences and findings.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is midnight 5th May 2017. Further information on submission requirements and the formats for abstracts are in this document.
