North Wales Mammal Group Mammal Symposium 2016

This year has the theme of ‘Rewilding’ and we have lined up an exciting range of speakers to talk about projects both in Wales and examples from further afield.
Speakers include:
Dr. Fiona Mathews – Chair of The Mammal Society
Dave Bavin (VWT) – Pine Marten Recovery Project
Dr. Matt Hayward – Rewilding projects in Australia, Poland and South Africa
Alicia Leow-Dyke – The Welsh Beaver Project
Dr. Anthony Caravaggi – People and Hedgehogs in Wales
Pete Haswell – Wolves in Croatia
Dr. Tom Stringell – Marine Mammals in Welsh Waters
Dr. Johnny Birks – Making the Most of Mammal Recording
Part of the symposium will include a workshop session with a range of experts passing on practical skills and knowledge.
